1. What surprised you the most about working in construction?
The industry’s embrace of cloud and mobile technologies doesn’t surprise me much as how well those technologies have embraced us back. The number of specialized, niche services and products designed to provide solutions for workers in the field, the shop, the office, and everywhere in between, continues to climb as more software recognizes our needs. Becoming familiar with the small fraction of these systems I have encountered so far has opened my eyes to the complexities of the trade.

2. What motivates you in your career?
Even after a few decades of school and jobs, finding opportunities to feed my curiosity while simultaneously executing goals continues to be the primary incentive for most things I do. Fortunately, working for Cooper Steel provides an ample supply of those learning opportunities, along with the numerous other benefits of being on such a great team.
