1. What makes you proud of being a woman working in construction?  
When it comes to being a woman in construction, I’m most proud of the respect I’ve earned from the people that have done this a lot longer than I have and the guidance I’ve been able to pass along to the women that came after me. This industry isn’t always easy to navigate, but I’ve had great leadership, and I’ve used what I’ve learned to better my understanding and help others along the way.     

2. What are some challenges of working in construction?
Being a woman! Construction is seen as a “man’s world”, and it can be challenging to step into a role typically held by a man. You must be confident in your abilities and do your best to make them see you as an equal.
