For February`s #ConnectwithCooper, we`re excited to highlight a valued member of our maintenance department - Trevor Sanders. Trevor is a hard-working, dedicated team member, and we`re proud to have him on our team!

"As a Maintenance Tech at Cooper Steel, my role involves preventative maintenance inspections, troubleshooting, and problem-solving to keep production moving as quickly and safely as possible. Each day here is different as we work on anything from replacing parts on wire feeders to installing beamlines and other machines.

I would describe Cooper Steel as a place where everyone is here for each other. Our core value, "Give Big, Expect Little," is my favorite phrase because I was raised to help out neighbors as much as you can without worrying if you`re going to get anything out of it.

I enjoy the team I work with; we can cut up and joke around, but we also know when and how to get things done and are ready to help anyone at any time. I`m motivated by challenges that help me to strengthen my knowledge and hopefully provide me the chance to share that knowledge with others to help them out.

I`m looking forward to continuing in my role at Cooper, learning everything I can and being grateful, no matter what."
